Study Daniel’s Integrity

Week 6 – Day 4

Study Daniel’s Integrity

Story

Oscar had always admired Daniel’s courage in the lions’ den but had rarely considered the daily habits that led there. As he read Daniel 6, he noticed that Daniel’s public courage flowed from private consistency, praying three times a day, refusing to hide his allegiance to God even when the law changed. Daniel didn’t make a sudden dramatic decision; he simply kept doing what he had always done, even when it became costly. Oscar realized that integrity is less about one heroic moment and more about repeated, steady faithfulness. That insight challenged him to build rhythms of obedience now, before the pressure intensified.

Scripture

“Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents and the local governors, because an excellent spirit was in him.” (Daniel 6:3)

Application

Daniel’s story shows integrity under pressure: consistency, courage, and visible loyalty to God. Today, study his example and draw out principles you can imitate in your own context, steady prayer, refusal to hide your faith, and choosing obedience over self-protection. His life reminds you that God honors those who honor Him, even when outcomes are uncertain.

Daily Challenge

Action: Read Daniel 6, noting Daniel’s consistency, courage, and visible witness. Write down at least two principles you can apply.

Prayer: God of Daniel, strengthen my resolve to be faithful “as before,” even when it is costly. Amen.
