AI in the Classroom
Articles, reflections, and resources on the ethical and practical use of generative AI in higher education.
Overview
This page gathers reflections, essays, and research notes on the role of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. The goal is not simply to track emerging tools, but to think carefully about how AI changes writing, assessment, attention, formation, and the deeper work of education.
Some of this work is practical and classroom-facing. Some of it is conceptual, asking what kinds of learning are worth protecting and what kinds of intellectual habits AI may either strengthen or weaken.
Areas of Focus
- AI and student writing.
- Teaching, assessment, and academic integrity.
- Prompting, feedback, and instructional design.
- Attention, cognition, and deeper learning.
- The future of educational practice in an AI-shaped world.
Current Direction
The deeper concern behind this work is not merely whether AI can make learning more efficient, but whether it supports wisdom, formation, and genuine understanding. In that sense, the central questions are psychological, educational, and moral at the same time.
Over time, this page can gather essays, conference material, teaching resources, and research updates related to artificial intelligence in educational settings.
