Act with Integrity and Leave Results to God
Week 7 – Day 6
Story
Naomi had the chance to advance at work by staying silent about a questionable practice everyone else accepted. Speaking up would likely cost her the promotion, perhaps even her job. As she prayed, she sensed God’s call to choose integrity, even if it meant loss. With trembling hands, she raised her concerns respectfully but clearly. The promotion did go to someone else. For a while, Naomi regretted her decision, but over time, she began to see unexpected fruit: deeper respect from colleagues, a clearer witness, and a peace that came from knowing she had honored God. The outcome wasn’t what she would have chosen, yet she found that the One who oversees outcomes had been faithful in deeper ways than she imagined.
Scripture
“Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this.” (Psalm 37:5)
Application
Trusting God’s sovereignty means doing what is right before Him and entrusting the fallout to His care. Today, when faced with a choice where integrity may cost you, choose obedience and then place the results into His hands. This is where the pillars meet: humility, Scripture, prayer, counsel, foresight, and integrity all under the covering of a sovereign God.
Daily Challenge
Action: Resolve to align your actions today with God’s character, even where that choice is costly. After acting, consciously commit the outcome to Him in prayer.
Prayer: Father, I entrust the results of obedience to You. Let my choices be a song of praise to Your name. Amen.
